family camp out 2008

This past weekend, my entire family went on a camp out down in Fairview. We stayed at Skyline Mountain Resort. We stayed in some nice cabins that had all the amenities of a house. Which was nice! There was a golf course and a swimming pool and nearby 4-wheeling trails. We played water balloon volleyball and roasted marshmallows. It was Derek's 2nd birthday on Sunday, so we even had a little party. (Oh no! That means Dylan's B-day is only 5 mo. away and Maddy's 6 mo. That's sad. Kids grow so fast!) There was a big tennis court too, which was a perfect giant playpen for Dylan to push his "bike" and Maddy her doll stroller around in. Hayden and Brittany watched them in the "playpen" for a while for me, which was so sweet of them. Good little babysitters :) It is great when the whole family can be together. I love having a big family, it just makes it hard to have all of us in one place sometimes. It was a great weekend get away from all the craziness of life. I am looking forward to the camping trip on Preston's side of the family now. Lot's of work but lot's of FUN!!! :0
